FLP JEWELRY DESIGN was launched in late November of 2009.  This unique collection of jewelry sprang from the designers’ desire to create beautiful pieces inspired by nature.  Finding their inspiration from their experiences in the fashion industry and their passion for jewelry-making, best friends Nicole Murphy and Yolanda Braddy, bring their knowledge of craftsmanship and jewelry design to their new line of jewelry for men and women.

Nicole Murphy was a highly-sought after international model by the time she was 13-years-old.  Her runway work took her around the world to distant and exotic locales.  These travels continue to inspire Nicole when choosing materials to create signature designs and one-of-a-kind styles in the wearable art creates.

Although retired from modeling, Nicole never lost her love of fashion.  She has always created her own jewelry and enthusiastically follows the latest trends and designers from around the world, which inspires her own unique style.  Today, the mother of five beautiful children finds love and peace in family and friendship – and in family and friendship she finds inspiration for creating pieces she hopes are very personal experiences for the jewelry’s new owners.
Nicole’s friend and business partner, Yolanda Braddy, calls on her personal sense of style and extensive profession experience in costume design when creating the duo’s signature pieces.  Her passion for jewelry design began when she was in middle school and led to dreams that she is finally pursuing.  

Yolanda’s career accomplishments include stints as the head costumer on hit movies and some of television’s most successful shows.  She also calls on her experience as an editorial and celebrity clothing stylist.  She has had the honor of working with some Hollywood’s most acclaimed actors, Grammy-winning music performers, and top professional athletes.  Together, Nicole’s and Yolanda’s diverse experience lends itself to the creation of a collection that consists of rich colors, unusual combinations of stones and metals, and beautifully imaginative pieces that set themselves apart from other high-end jewelry in the marketplace.

The pieces are comprised of lava stones, Bali beads, Chinese crystal, smoky topaz, ebony wood, bone and turquoise and highlighted pave diamond stonework.  FLP jewelry features a mix of textures, stones, and metals that offer understated luxury – The simple and perfect finishing touch to a modern wardrobe for both men and women.
